Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant Job Opportunity

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Radcliffe to assist with the appointment of a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant on a 1-month contract, with potential for extension at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.10 - £14.78 per Hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimizing dispensary operations to minimize losses and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Ensuring accurate handling and dispensing of all medicines, including NHS and private prescriptions.
  • Complying with legal and professional requirements, as well as Company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Supporting the delivery of pharmacy services as needed.
  • Providing safe and accurate advice on medicines, including OTC medication, to customers and patients.
Requirements:
  • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed through a GPhC accredited route.
  • Experience working in a community pharmacy, preferably with experience using Pharmacy Manager software.
  • Working NHS Smartcard.

Important Notes:

  • Candidates should be available to start immediately or at short notice.
  • Right to work in the U.K is required.
  • This role necessitates a basic DBS.
