About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Cartrefi Cymru. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and make their own choices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with daily living tasks and personal care
- Enable individuals to make decisions and take control of their lives
- Communicate effectively with professionals and record important events
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals
Key Skills and Qualities:
- Empathy and patience when working with individuals
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Observational skills and ability to identify areas for support
Requirements:
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Reliable and flexible with a commitment to work-life balance
