Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Team Leader to join our team at OCS Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of cleaners and ensuring that our customer sites are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of cleaners to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Conduct daily inspections of customer sites to identify any areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with customer representatives to understand their specific requirements and ensure that these are met.
  • Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels to ensure that the team has everything they need to perform their duties.
  • Train and develop staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to perform their roles effectively.
  • Carry out general cleaning duties as required.
  • Control costs to ensure that services are delivered within agreed budget.
  • Supervise quality control procedures to ensure that high standards are maintained.
  • Conduct team briefings to cascade information to staff and ensure that everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure that staff present a professional image at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
  • Strong people skills and ability to motivate and lead a team.
