About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced EHC Plan Writer to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As an EHC Plan Writer, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive EHC plans, ensuring they meet the needs of pupils with SEN and disabilities.
  • Chair EHC plan meetings, facilitating effective communication between parents, settings, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage a designated caseload, enabling the Local Authority to meet its statutory duties in relation to SEN and disabilities.
  • Act as a key worker, providing support and guidance to parents, settings, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge of the EHC framework and assessment pathway.
  • Understanding of health and social care services that support children and young people with SEN.
  • Local Authority experience is essential for this role.
