About the Job

We are looking for an experienced IT/EPOS engineer to fill a contract opportunity in Scotland. As an IT engineer for UK wide installation, you will be responsible for replacing Base Units, Customer Displays, Keyboards, Till Printers, and Scanner Plates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Replacing faulty equipment
  • Installation of new equipment
  • Travel to client sites throughout the UK

You will work independently, with occasional collaboration with colleagues and clients. A DBS criminal history check is required, and a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points is essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in IT/EPOS installation and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A competitive salary of up to £140 per day is offered, along with a meal allowance and van, fuel card, and travel expenses. Overtime is highly likely and paid at £15.56 per hour.

Please note that this role has been assessed and deemed an inside IR35 position.
