This Heavy Engineering Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of Nickel, Titanium and Steel alloy forgings for the aerospace, defence and energy sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining manufacturing plant and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

">
  • Maintain manufacturing plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns.
  • Work under own initiative, be self-motivated and have ability to manage varied and demanding workload.
  • Fault finding with ability to read technical drawings, work at heights and in enclosed spaces.
  • Basic IT skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of High voltage distribution systems is desirable.

Requirements

  • Time served in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline.
  • HNC in an Engineering related subject is desirable.
  • 4 years' experience in heavy engineering industry.
