About the Job

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at Amazon is a vital part of our operations. As a reliable and skilled Reliability Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment and workspaces, upholding Health and Safety best practices. You will work closely with your colleagues to prevent machine downtime, boost the availability and quality of our equipment, and enhance the operational environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
* Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
* Use the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
* Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
* Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
* Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites

A Day in the Life

As a Reliability Maintenance Technician, you will work on-site to respond quickly to any machinery issues. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance to ensure our equipment is working safely. You will also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. You will work alongside senior colleagues on day-to-day maintenance tasks and liaise with contractors if needed. You will work on a range of shifts to support our sites around the clock.

About the Team

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is a technically-minded team made up of excellent team players and guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. We handle most aspects of Amazon's technical side, including keeping buildings legally compliant and our sites operating at maximum efficiency. There are opportunities for progression within the RME team and more widely across Amazon. We focus on reducing downtime in Amazon's crucial operations sites to ensure customers receive their orders on time.
