Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant Primary School in the Huthwaite area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Class Teacher in promoting the acquisition of learning goals for all pupils in KS1 and KS2.

Your key responsibilities will include general classroom support, facilitating learning through play, and small group interventions for pupils requiring additional help. You will work closely with the Class Teacher to ensure that all learners receive focused support to achieve excellent progress.

• Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher.
• Behaviour management skills and knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc.
• Organised and reliable with a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process a new one.
