Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support to teachers and students in a classroom setting, assisting with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation
  • Support students with learning difficulties, providing individualized assistance and accommodations
  • Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year
