Tax Manager

Public Practice Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their team in Louth. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a corporate tax portfolio, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management, and preparing and reviewing corporate tax computations and returns.
About the Role- Manage a corporate tax portfolio, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management.
- Prepare and review corporate tax computations and returns.
- Offer corporate tax advice.
- Draft financial statements.
- Review work completed by junior team members with constructive feedback.
- Lead liaison with HMRC, including preparing letters for senior review and reviewing letters prepared by junior staff.
- Build trusted client relationships, handle queries, and problem-solve.
- Deal with compliance work, including payment advice letters.
- Work closely across departments, such as audit, to obtain relevant information.
- Monitor the commercial aspects of portfolio management, ensuring deadlines and fee recovery targets are met.
- Keep up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team.
- Delegate work to and manage junior staff, overseeing workflow and quality control.
