An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Urban Development Specialist to join a successful Land and Planning Team in West Scotland. The successful candidate will handle a variety of planning applications of varying scales and complexity, spanning the entire planning process, from policy and promotional work to development management and site delivery.
- Produce planning assessments for new site appraisals.
- Lead on planning applications, including Outline, Full, and Reserved Matters, as well as discharging planning conditions and negotiating S75 agreements.
- Prepare and commission planning statements and various technical documents to support applications.
- Coordinate responses to consultations on new and emerging local and national planning policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in development management or planning, ideally within a Local Authority, Planning Consultancy, or with a Housebuilder/Developer.
- A Degree or Masters in Planning with RTPI accreditation and a comprehensive understanding of planning.
- A full UK driving licence.
