Key Responsibilities- Help maintain a visually appealing store environment, ensuring high standards of display and presentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Actively promote and explain the benefits of Gift Aid to customers, as well as other promotions and initiatives.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including cash handling and banking procedures.
- Support the training and development of volunteers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Assist in the sorting and preparation of donated stock, ensuring it is processed efficiently and effectively.
- Travel to other stores as part of a cluster, as required.
- Support the Shop Manager in maintaining best practice and Health and Safety procedures.
- Take on additional responsibilities, including managing volunteers and ensuring the smooth operation of the store, in the absence of the Shop Manager.
- Be resilient, supportive, and caring, with a positive attitude towards delivering exceptional customer service.
- Possess a strong work ethic, with a willingness to adapt and think on your feet.
- Have a keen interest in the environment and sustainability, with a desire to contribute to our charitable mission.
