Energy Aspects Seeks Quantitative Analyst/Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst/Strategist to join our industry-leading Quant Analytics team at Energy Aspects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex models, analyzing market data, and providing strategic insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain proprietary models for commodity futures and options markets.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns in market behavior.
  • Provide strategic insights to clients on market opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new analytics solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and regulatory changes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance).
  • Excellent programming skills in Python/R and strong familiarity with numeric libraries and methods.
  • Strong expertise in time series analysis (financial econometrics and/or ML).
  • Strong knowledge of options strategies and pricing models and risk metrics.
  • Good communicator and synthesizer of complex material (written and spoken).
  • Core data science and data management skills. Cleaning, processing, merging, and presenting.
Desirable Skills
  • Commodity or macro markets exposure.
  • Experience working with financial data and financial derivative products.
  • Experience producing dashboards (Plotly Dash/Shiny) or other data visualization methods.
  • Interest in wider financial markets and global economics.
  • Metals experience or exposure.
