We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Specialist to join our team in Lutterworth. As a key member of our workshop, you will play a crucial role in the service, repair, and maintenance of heavy plant and construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, repair, and maintenance of heavy plant and construction equipment
  • Identify mechanical issues using technical knowledge and computerized systems within a workshop environment
  • Ensure software updates are installed accurately
  • Complete paperwork efficiently
  • Order and return parts as required
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering, HGV maintenance, or similar
  • Extensive mechanical experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of hydraulics and electronics
  • Ability to work independently to a high standard of competence
  • Practical repair and maintenance experience on heavy construction plant
  • Proven technical competence on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics, and electronics
  • Ideal candidates will have welding, fabrication, and line boring experience
  • Hold a full UK driving license
