Llanelli is a town in the county of Carmarthenshire, Wales. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Principal Psychologist in neurorehabilitation to join our team at Brainkind Neurological Centre York.

About Us

We provide expert neurorehabilitation to support people with acquired brain injury (ABI) regain their skills. Our multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team includes Assistant Psychologists, Rehabilitation Support Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech and Language Therapists.

Job Overview

The successful applicant will provide strategic, professional leadership to the team, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and evidence-based neuropsychological rehabilitation practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing highly specialist psychological advice to the multi-disciplinary formulation of therapeutic approaches or intervention plans;
  • Supervising the implementation of these plans and undertaking psychologically based risk assessment and risk management for relevant service users;
  • Ensuring the development of effective organisational systems to support the delivery of high-quality services;
