Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert legal advice on employment law to healthcare professionals, including regulatory matters, clinical negligence, and inquests.
  • Preparing documentation, responses to tribunals, bundles, witness statements, and reports.
  • Managing a caseload and collaborating with team members.
  • Managing tribunal claims.
  • Advising on changes to terms and conditions.
  • Dealing with employment law matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, and whistleblowing.
  • Drafting and preparing documents as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance and providing advice to members.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with some level of experience.
  • Experience in claimant work is not essential, but a proven track record of providing legal advice is required.
  • Ability to work closely in a team.

Benefits:

  • Salary: up to £40,000.
  • Hybrid working arrangement (4 days from home, 1 day in Bedford office).
  • Monday – Friday, 9 – 5pm (flexible hours).
