HIAB Clamshell Loader Operator

Backline Logistics is in search of a skilled HIAB Clamshell Loader Operator for ongoing projects.

Position Overview:

  • Traveling to various job locations for road backfilling and reinstatement tasks.
  • Operating a Class 2 (C) vehicle equipped with a Tipper body and HIAB featuring a Clamshell Bucket attachment.
  • Collaborating in a two-person team to refill trenches dug for utility service maintenance, compacting materials, and preparing for surfacing teams.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Category C driving license.
  • Proven experience with HIAB operations is essential.
  • Certification for Clam attachments through NPORS or ALLMI is preferred.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of working effectively within a team environment.

Additional training for NRSWA qualification will be offered to the suitable candidate.
