A Day in the Life

As a Senior Programme Manager, you will use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and deliver results. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to improving other areas of the business, such as diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Amazon couldn't deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you will be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you will help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree
  • Experience owning programme strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced or master's degree
  • Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
  • Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams
