Job Overview

NUCO Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Chelmsford, covering social housing reactive maintenance contracts.

This role will involve performing electrical inspections and remedial works on domestic properties across the area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical testing and maintenance, as well as experience working in the social housing sector.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £39,000 or the option to work on a schedule of rates with earnings over £45,000 per year.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a leading pension scheme, van, fuel card, and a range of other benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance and repair of electrical systems in domestic properties
  • Performing EICRs and remedial works
  • Upgrades and installation works

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A strong background in electrical testing and maintenance
  • Experience working in the social housing sector
  • Hold a valid UK driving license
  • Hold a 18th edition qualification
  • Hold a 2391 qualification
  • Hold a NVQ L3 qualification
