Job Summary

Randstad UK Holding is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a new modular build scheme in Oxfordshire. Our client is a growing developer committed to climate positive homes, setting a new standard for low carbon construction and energy efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Site Manager with a proven track record in managing similar schemes, preferably with experience in modular build, traditional build, or timber frame construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction process and be able to provide clear direction to the on-site team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the scheme, ensuring it is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme.
  • Provide accurate and regular reports on progress and dates.
  • Control additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure.
  • Drive quality at every stage of the construction process.
  • Ensure the development passes internal and external inspection processes.
  • Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to.
  • Take responsibility for self-development and the development of others.
  • Monitor and control the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors.
  • Ensure any remedial work is completed prior to occupation.
  • Ensure customer service remains of the highest priority at all times with everyone on site.

Requirements

  • Experience of working on timber-frame, carbon neutral bespoke schemes, modular would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience of being a No1 on site.
  • CSCS.
  • First Aid.
