Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Category Buyer to join our team at Savers Health and Beauty. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing category plans in the BWS/Alcohol and Food and Drink sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver category plans that align with our overall commercial strategy and financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and implement marketing promotion plans and strategies.
  • Work closely with the Merchandising team to agree merchandising strategies that drive and deliver the right range in the right store.
  • Identify and implement new product opportunities that are competitively priced and commercially viable.
  • Manage and review pricing to ensure Savers is competitive and operates within our pricing strategy.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the BWS/Alcohol/Food and Drink categories.
  • Commercially sound with excellent ability to understand and interpret market information.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
