Job Title: Class 1 Night Driver

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Night Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to and from businesses, including in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles, including refrigerated and curtain-sided trailers.
  • Delivering and collecting goods to and from businesses.
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations.
  • Attending regular training sessions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience of fridge trailers is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given.
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
