Electrical Controls Engineer Opportunity

A leading global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join their thriving South Wales facility.


As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for CHP maintenance, maintaining HV and LV main distribution, including protection, PFC, and SPDs, and operating and commissioning building management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding plant operation items (VFDs, motors, boilers, chillers, HVAC, pumps, vacuum systems)
  • Experience reading/producing electrical and mechanical drawings (P&IDs and flow diagrams)
  • A good understanding of Pneumatic systems and both electrical and control/instrumentation systems
  • Ability to fault find on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic control systems
  • Familiarity with air conditioning systems and electrical regulations
