Job Summary:

The ReFood AD plant operates as an integrated recycling unit, processing food waste to produce renewable electricity, heat, and ReFood, a nutrient-rich fertilizer for local farms. The plant also recycles food waste packaging.

This role involves working 12-hour shifts, 4 on / 4 off (days and nights), plus overtime to provide shift cover as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out day-to-day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
  • Working under Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Carrying out routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including the completion of risk assessments.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
  • Providing production support within the shift team and providing shift cover when required.
  • Completing department daily work record sheets.

Requirements:

  • Ideal experience of an Anaerobic Digestion facility or related experience.
  • A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Extensive Electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
  • Proven experience with fault finding, including troubleshooting and solving problems.
  • Familiarity with general factory maintenance practices.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC logic and inverter drives.
