Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide support to ensure quality, efficiency, and repeatability of processes on current and new equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify manufacturing processes are fit for purpose and achieving quality and performance targets
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers to verify effectiveness of quality control systems
- Develop operating instructions and troubleshooting guides for processes/equipment
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues for existing and new equipment
- Monitor manufacturing processes, identify and justify potential improvements
- Utilize problem-solving techniques, including RCA tools such as DFMEA/PFMEA, 8D & control plans
- Participate in process improvement teams to resolve issues
- Engage in Continuous Professional Development
Requirements
Attributes:
- HNC Qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Advanced Apprenticeship or equivalent work-based experience
- Experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer within product development in a similar environment
- Aerospace experience is not essential but advantageous
- Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Practical problem solver
- Ability to work individually or as a team
