About the Job

We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our care home staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks, ensuring that our care home is clean, safe, and comfortable for everyone. This includes maintaining high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and organization throughout the home.

Main Duties

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the care home
  • Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, equipment, and furniture as required
  • Restocking supplies and linens as needed
  • Assisting with laundry and ironing duties
  • Helping to maintain a tidy and organized storage area

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a caring nature, personable approach, and good practical skills. You should also be reliable, keen to use your attention to detail, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.

Salary and Benefits
