Job Title: Transportation Procurement Manager
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Transportation Procurement Manager to join our team at West Midlands Trains.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts, negotiating prices, and driving business growth. You will work closely with depots and EWR, managing commercial elements, providing reports, and ensuring consistent application of procedures and financial controls.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial elements and provide reports
- Ensure consistent application of procedures and financial controls
- Mobilise the EWR MSA and drive up performance
- Extract maximum value from the contract
Requirements:
We are looking for a strong project manager with contract and commercial knowledge, excellent people management skills, and a good understanding of modern DMU fleets.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, free travel on our trains, 75% off other train company tickets, retail discounts, and career development opportunities.
