HGV Mechanic Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team at Auto Skills UK. As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards, preparing and presenting vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection, and diagnosing vehicles using diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and meet DVSA standards.
  • Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment, identifying and repairing issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety requirements.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician.
  • HGV licence is an advantage.
