About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Education Support Professional. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and support their academic and personal growth.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and supporting the behaviour of pupils within the classroom environment, as well as providing one-to-one support where necessary.
  • Working closely with class teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters active participation and achievement.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to de-escalate behavioural concerns and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Providing additional support to students who require extra help, whether it be academically or emotionally.
  • Being prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed, such as leading small groups or covering lessons in the absence of a teacher.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • A patient and understanding approach, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality education and support to students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing ideas and best practices to drive student success.
  • A valid DBS check and the right to work in the UK.
