Job Overview

Oilandgas is currently seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Project Coordinator Oil and Gas to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale construction projects in the heavy industry sector.

About the Role:

  1. You will work collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful project delivery, meeting quality, safety, and budget targets.
  2. With a strong background in mechanical engineering, you will provide technical guidance, manage site activities, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  3. Your experience in the nuclear sector and Joint Venture/Alliance environments will be valuable assets in this role.
  4. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify solutions, develop plans, and implement changes to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects, meeting quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • A degree in construction or mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project coordination, preferably in the heavy industry sector.
  • Possession of CCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety Passport, with ability to obtain security clearance (BPSS or higher).
  • Familiarity with Navis Works software and knowledge of NEC ECC Contract is desirable.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
