We are seeking an Immunohistochemistry Laboratory Manager to join our team at BioTalent.

This role requires experience in operating and troubleshooting complex laboratory equipment and knowledge of service improvement within pathology.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Immunohistochemistry and Quality Management Systems in pathology.

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Management of day-to-day laboratory operations, including staff supervision and investigation management
  2. Maintenance of quality standards and continuous improvement within the department
  3. Development and review of SOPs
  4. Training and support for staff development

Requirements:

  • BSc in Biomedical Sciences with HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist
  • Evidence of CPD; Fellowship of the IBMS, MSc, or equivalent desirable
  • Experience in operating and troubleshooting complex laboratory equipment
