About the Role

Skanska, a leading global development and construction company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join its Commercial Property Maintenance team in East Central London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering day-to-day servicing of the electrical infrastructure, carrying out breakdown maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with electrical applications commonly encountered in the contract
  • Attend reactive calls and complete tasks efficiently
  • Complete planned maintenance tasks within stated time frames
  • Become an Appointed Person if required by the site
  • Assist clients with ad-hoc tasks and provide excellent customer service
  • Have a thorough understanding of all plant and systems
  • Cover shifts from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am

Requirements

  • City & Guilds level 2 minimum / NVQ level 3 minimum
  • Previous experience in an engineering position within the service industry
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Knowledge of control systems and HVAC systems
  • IEE 17th Edition certification
  • IOSH Working Safely minimum
