Job Description:

As a Technical Escalator Improvement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic improvements that elevate the technical knowledge and skills of engineers and field management at Stannah. This role involves collaborative work with engineers, field managers, and suppliers to identify areas for improvement, develop targeted solutions, and implement process enhancements to optimize asset reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing performance data to pinpoint underperforming assets and implementing tailored solutions to drive improvement.
  • Designing and delivering technical training programs for engineers and field managers to address product and skill gaps, thereby enhancing overall field performance.
  • Leading strategic reviews to measure the effectiveness of training and performance improvements, ensuring continuous enhancement.
  • Serving as a technical leader to motivate, coach, and engage branch engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Providing assistance to local service branches to diagnose, source parts, and equipment needs.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in technical service management within the escalator industry, showcasing a deep understanding of the sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on coaching and motivating teams to achieve optimal results.
  • A proven track record of delivering technical improvement programs and driving operational performance, leading to tangible improvements.
  • The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, ensuring seamless engagement with technical and service development initiatives.
  • Relevant professional or technical qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering (required) and NVQ Level 4 in Testing and Commissioning (highly desirable).

Compensation and Benefits:
