About the Role
Mencap is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Boston, working in the community with individuals with learning disabilities.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily activities, providing emotional support, and building meaningful relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities, such as personal care and household tasks
- Provide emotional support and build strong relationships with individuals
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality care and support
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships

- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
Benefits
- 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) + a variety of benefits including pension and holiday buying options

Contract Options
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
- Enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45 for sleep-in shifts
This role is subject to receipt of an enhanced DBS and suitable references.
