We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Vistry Group, a leading provider of affordable mixed-tenure homes.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commercial and risk management, with a strong reputation for integrity, maturity, and sound business judgement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimise the profitability of contracts
  • Ensure contracts achieve the optimum cashflow position
  • Manage contract documentation, including Performance Bonds, Parent Company Guarantees, and Warranties
  • Procure sub-contractors in line with the Vistry Business Management System

HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent

Experience of working within the Construction industry for a residential housing developer

Excellent IT, analytical, and communication skills

Strong mathematical ability

Ability to assess and analyse information

Good business sense

Good understanding of budget management

Negotiating and networking skills

COINs user experience

Enthusiasm

Flexibility

Able to work within a busy team and under pressure

Good team working skills

Accurate with an eye for detail

A methodical approach

Willing to work extra to meet deadlines as and when the business needs require it

HND or higher qualification

Professional membership of MCIOB or RICS preferable

National House builder experience

Different methods of construction i.e. Timber Frame
