Job Overview

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join their team in Staffordshire. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in building repairs and maintenance, with expertise in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and locksmithing.

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks including fire door fitting and repairs, kitchen repairs and replacements, fire stopping, plaster patching, and tiling and grouting. They will also need to have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carpentry and joinery skills
  • Fire door fitting and repairs
  • Kitchen repairs and replacements
  • Fire stopping
  • Plumbing
  • Plaster patching
  • Tiling and grouting
  • Locksmithing
  • Fault finding (e.g., fitting fire doors, leaking showers, replacing kitchen worktops, units, etc.)

Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualifications and/or experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

Benefits:
  • An estimated hourly rate of £20 per hour (CIS)
  • A working schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 4:30pm
