Senior ESG Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ESG Consultant to join our Consultancy firm, Timely Recruit Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Environmental, Social, and Governance aspects of Sustainability in a business consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to understand and document their Environmental, Social, and Governance practices and develop strategies for Net Zero.
  • Conduct ESG maturity assessments, due diligence for Private Equity, and annual ESG Impact Reports.
  • Review Net Zero baseline calculations, devise carbon reduction plans, and develop TCFD-aligned climate risk strategies.
  • Score and benchmark clients on ESG metrics, providing actionable plans for long-term value creation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Environmental, Social, or Governance aspects of Sustainability in a business consulting environment.
  • Passionate about Net-zero / ESG or Sustainability.
  • Previous experience with private equity focused clients.
  • Strong writing skills, as this is a significant part of the role.
  • Experience with Decarbonisation / Net Zero strategy/advisory, carbon management, and Investor reporting, including TCFD.
