About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our Medical Accounts team in Ipswich or Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, reviewing accounts, and providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building relationships with clients and managing client portfolios
  • Reviewing accounts and tax computations
  • Delegating accounts work to junior staff members
  • Assisting with the development of trainees
  • Managing deadlines, budgets, and client billing
  • Reporting to partners and working closely with them to provide excellent service
  • Building your own experience and knowledge base through our training program
Requirements
  • ICAEW/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a UK practice environment preparing accounts and tax returns for unincorporated and corporate clients
  • Managing and training staff
  • Previous exposure to medical sector clients
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and accounting software Sage and Xero
  • Excellent communication skills
