We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team. As a key member of our multi-professional team, you will be responsible for assessing the health and clinical needs of our patients, undertaking consultations, and using your advanced clinical practice skills to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage the clinical needs of patients
- Undertake consultations and use clinical judgement to diagnose and treat patients
- Prescribe medication and refer patients to primary or secondary care specialist services as appropriate
- Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff
- Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist qualification
- Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Clinical skills qualification at degree level
- Independent prescriber qualification
- Evidence of completion of study in minor illness, minor injury, paediatric minor illness, and paediatric minor injury
