Job Title: Registered Manager

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join our team at Willowdale Residential Home. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Perform basic HR duties, including recruitment, supervision, appraisals, performance management, and sickness absence management.
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care services.
  • Work closely with the deputy manager to ensure smooth running and total compliance in all areas.
  • Manage all aspects of the home's activity, ensuring high standards are maintained in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the Home's philosophy of care.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures and the Mental Capacity Act.
  • Experience in inspiring and leading a hard-working team of staff.
  • Knowledge and skills to make a real impact on the quality of care in the home.
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with residents and fellow colleagues.

If you are working as an adult care worker and provide care, you are required to ensure that you are registered with Social Care Wales (SCW), maintain your registration, and hold a valid registration number.
