Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ALPLA UK Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our blow moulding machines and associated production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on blow moulding machines and production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Conduct planned and preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork and maintenance logs are completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastics or packaging industry.
  • Proven experience in multi-skilled maintenance, with a strong understanding of blow moulding machines and production equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with production teams and other stakeholders.
