Leading Water Company Seeks Senior Water Resources Planner

Vallum Associates is a leading water company based in the South region, seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Planner to join our team.

  • We offer a salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
  • This is a permanent full-time role with opportunities for professional growth.
  • Our team works in a hybrid model, allowing you to split your time between Bristol and Exeter locations.
About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for using data insights to inform decision-making processes within the organization. This involves critically evaluating demand and supply outputs to shape WRMP development and Business Plan chapters.

  1. You will analyze data and interpret results to support strategic planning initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  2. You will manage and execute water resource projects, adhering to project timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
  3. You will deliver hydrological modelling and supply system modelling, interpreting outputs to forecast future water supplies accurately and make informed decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in water resources planning, focusing on strategic planning and analysis.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, or initiatives related to water resources management.
  • Effective project management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
