Teaching Personnel: A Full-Time PE Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Education (PE) teacher to join our team at an Ofsted Good secondary school in Northumberland. This full-time position commences ASAP and offers the potential for permanency based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons that cater to students' diverse interests, abilities, and needs.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes physical activity, health, and wellbeing among students.
  • Assess students' progress and attainment in PE through observation, skill assessments, and performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialization in Physical Education.
  • A passion for promoting physical activity, health, and wellbeing among young people, with a commitment to inspiring and motivating students through PE.
  • Experience teaching PE at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements, sports coaching principles, and assessment practices.
Compensation and Benefits:

Our competitive salary package is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer a supportive and inclusive working environment within an Ofsted Good secondary school, opportunities for professional development and career progression, and the potential for the role to become permanent based on performance.
