Job Title: Management Accountant

Job Summary:

The Finance Department at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to provide accurate financial information and support effective decision-making. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial ledger, providing financial management support and advice to Clinical Groups, and processing accounting information in accordance with the agreed monthly accounting timetable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
  • Provide financial advice to budget holders and managers
  • Ensure effective financial monitoring by providing accurate reports on year-end income and expenditure
  • Perform robust variance analysis

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified or currently studying towards CCAB (or equivalent)
  • Experience providing budgetary support and liaising with budget holders
  • Able to interpret and present financial information
  • A positive attitude to take on responsibility and develop the role
