About the Role

As a key member of the Barchester Healthcare team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our care homes. As a Housekeeping Director, you will lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that every room and living space is maintained to the highest standards. This requires excellent attention to detail, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results.

About You
Experience in housekeeping in a care home, hospital, or hotel environment is highly desirable for this role. We are looking for a proven leader who can inspire and motivate a team to deliver high-quality results. A caring nature and good communication skills are essential, as you will often interact with other staff members, residents, and their relatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of housekeeping staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures
• Ensure that all housekeeping equipment and supplies are maintained and replenished as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless delivery of services
• Monitor and report on housekeeping performance and make recommendations for improvement
