SEN Support Worker

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in a Special Needs High School. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or Social, Emotional difficulties (SEMH) in achieving their full potential.

In this role, you will work closely with the SEN team to identify and address the individual needs of each student. Your primary responsibilities will include providing emotional and academic support, developing strategies to promote positive behaviour, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to student care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and academic support to students
- Develop strategies to promote positive behaviour and academic progress
- Collaborate with senior leaders, heads of departments, parents, carers, social workers, and other professionals

Requirements:
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Possess a DBS on the Update Service (or be prepared to obtain a new one)
- Provide overseas Police Checks (if applicable)
- Have previous school-based experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Secondary Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Special Needs Teaching Assistant, or a similar role
