About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all necessary mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles.
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop.
  • Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
  • Order replacement parts.
  • Re-assemble vehicles with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.

Requirements:

  • Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed on timescales.
  • Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
  • Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Be flexible in your approach.
  • Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Ensure all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines.

About You:

We are looking for a skilled MET Technician with experience in a Bodyshop environment. Alternatively, we can consider Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technicians who are looking for a change to work in a body shop.
