As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex geotechnical projects with minimal supervision, working in a technical review function, and supporting your colleagues to increase their understanding of advanced geotechnical principles and offshore geotechnics.

The successful candidate will hold a pivotal role in both the Offshore Geotechnics and Numerical Modelling Technical Disciplines, ensuring that AtkinsRéalis continues to push the envelope of our geotechnical design and modelling capability.

With a strong academic background and relevant degree, ideally an MSc or PhD in a relevant subject, you will possess proven geotechnical analysis and design experience, particularly in the Offshore sector. You should also have experience in leading offshore design, including offshore foundation design, driveability, cable burial trench ability, and deep-water anchoring.

A key requirement is detailed understanding of advanced constitutive soil models, parameter selection for such models, soil-structure interaction, and experience of numerical modelling software (FLAC, PLAXIS 2D / 3D etc.) in addition to standard geotechnical software.

You will be expected to manage the process of geotechnical numerical analysis within an interdisciplinary project environment, validate geotechnical numerical analysis, and drive digital innovation furthering AtkinsRéalis' capability in offshore geotechnics and advanced geotechnical analysis.

We offer a competitive salary of £90,000 per annum, regularised by market benchmarking, plus 25 days leave each year plus bank holidays, and options to buy some or sell off that leave. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
