About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Testing Lead to join our team at Royal London. As a key member of our testing team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the planning of system and acceptance tests.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the integrity of testing and acceptance activities, as well as coordinating the execution of these activities. You will also provide authoritative advice and guidance on test approach, planning, and execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing testing activities and planning system and acceptance tests
  • Coordinating the execution of testing plans and ensuring the production and approval of testing deliverables
  • Coordinating all activities and testers during each testing phase
  • Collaborating with clients and senior staff to agree on testing strategies and maintaining awareness of testing alternatives
  • Directing investigations to assess and advise on testing process alternatives and identifying improvements to the process
  • Ensuring risks associated with test strategy and system test plans are clearly documented and described
  • Providing guidance to colleagues on test planning and execution
  • Planning and arranging meetings, workshops, and relations with client/user staff during test planning and development activities
  • Establishing and planning automated testing strategies and championing the use of automation and other test methods
  • Liaising with non-functional performance and security testers to ensure inclusion in projects or specialist teams
  • Facilitating effective working relationships between team members and motivating them to maintain high performance

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in application, process, or product that benefits the test team. You should be proficient in the collection, analysis, and application of historical test measurements and future estimation.
