This ambitious project involves the development of new buildings, facilities, and infrastructure, which will transform the University of Salford into a vibrant and dynamic hub of learning and innovation.

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with our Associate Director of Campus Services and the Strategic Portfolio Office to build on the strong foundation laid by our key team members. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with construction partners to deliver building projects from pre-planning to delivery.
  • Overseeing the refresh and remodelling of our catering outlets in Phase II of a larger project.
  • Working with external partners to implement transport optimisation activities, including car parking solutions and sustainable travel plans.
  • Reviewing our students' accommodation process and exploring ways to improve their customer experience through our providers and IT solutions.
  • Providing project management support for our ambitious sports and physical activity strategy.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A background in commercial projects.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong project management life cycle experience with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in overseeing multiple projects as part of a large programme.
